Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Participation guide

Ultimate Texas Hold’em is a poker-based casino game featuring head-to-head play against the dealer, and an optional Trips bonus bet.

Ultimate Texas Hold’em is played on a standard half-moon style gaming table by a maximum of 7 players.
The hands are dealt from a shoe using one deck of fifty-two playing cards, or from an automatic shuffle machine using two alternating decks of fifty-two playing cards.

Ranking of Hands:

Ultimate Texas Hold’em uses standard poker rankings for hands:

All suits have the same rank.

Cards rank from high to low as follows:
Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2

2 Pairs 2 cards of the same rank and 2 cards of the same (other) rank

High card Hand with none of the above combinations

Game Operation:

The player must make an equal wager on the Ante and Blind bets, and may also make an optional Trips bet.

The maximum wager on each of the Ante, Blind and Trips bets is €100.

Each player and the dealer receive two cards face down and five community cards are dealt face down.

Each player will look at their own cards.

Each player may check (make no additional bet) or may make a Play bet equal to three or four times their Ante bet.

The dealer will reveal the first three of the five community cards.

Each player who previously checked may either check again or make a Play bet equal to two times their Ante bet. (Players who previously made a Play bet must check).

The dealer will reveal the two remaining community cards.
Each player who previously checked twice must either make a Play bet equal to their Ante bet, or fold and lose their Ante and Blind bets. (Players who previously made a Play bet may make no further bets).

The dealer’s hand is then compared against each player’s hand in turn, using in each case the best poker hand combination of their own two cards and the five community cards.

The dealer needs at least one pair to open.

The players bets are settled according to the following:

Player wins and dealer opens Blind bet pays according to pay table
